Virginia Soccer Alliance

VSA members are part of a fully merged, singular entity sharing one Board of Directors, a shared curriculum, finances, executive staff and database.  However, all clubs maintain their own local staff, website, and branding, including crests, colors and uniforms.

Membership includes the following benefits:

Greater economies of scale with vendors.  Access to VSA’s ongoing partnerships including official uniform supplier Capelli Sport, Hudl match recording and analysis, Soccer Resilience mental performance, Techne player development app, TGS Recruiting platform, Coaching Manual online coach resource, USC club membership, etc.

Shared administrative duties (player registrations, scheduling, Gotsport registration, referee development/assignment, etc) performed by VSA Administrators.

Full time Executive Director pursuing mission and vision, providing staff management, and overseeing budget.

Board membership with ongoing role in the organization’s governance.

Shared competitive outlets with other member clubs including Recreational teams (where appropriate), Challenge teams (U10, U12, U15), winter Futsal and Travel soccer.

Integrated player development pathway with progressive steps from local travel (NPL teams), state wide league (ECNL RL – SOCA teams) and National League platform (ECNL and GA – Skyline Elite teams).  Easy to follow progression with access for all players and support at every level.

Local Technical Directors overseeing the day to day player development model and competitive experience in each club.

Membership in VSA Technical Committee with other Technical leads to develop/share curriculum and player development initiatives.

Shared management of hosted events such as the Blue Ridge Cup annual Labor Day tournament and the NPL West travel soccer league.
